History

The Colusa Regional Medical Center Auxiliary was founded in 1966 by Mrs. Irene Grenfell and a handful of friends and supporters of the hospital.   For the past 40 years, this dedicated group of volunteers has garnered over $250,000 for the hospital and aided in the purchase of much needed equipment such as surgical equipment, ICU monitors and computers. Renovations of hospital patient rooms, the hospital chapel and the ICU waiting room were all made possible through the hard work of the Auxiliary. 

Today the CRMC Auxiliary has more than 30 members and is growing. This remarkable group provides hundreds of hours of service each year to Colusa Regional Medial Center, as well as caring support and comfort to our patients, their families and visitors.
