New members are always welcome to join the CRMC Auxiliary. Dues are only $10 per year, and membership meetings are held monthly.  As a member you will hear wrap-ups of past fundraising efforts, receive updates on hospital plans and activities, and participate in planning for the future.

Some Auxiliary members work on several projects, while others prefer to focus on one activity a year.  The choice is yours!  Either way, you'll make new friends and be an active partner in helping Colusa Regional Medical Center and our community.  Join us and learn how you can share your skills.

 The Gift Shop

The CRMC Gift Shop is located in the front lobby of the hospital and is open to the public. Auxiliary members manage and operate the shop 9 a.m. - Noon and 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Gift Shop stocks floral arrangements, stuffed animals and cheery gifts suitable for patients.  Also available is a full selection of cards, candy, unique gifts and seasonal items. 

Gift Shop proceeds total several thousand dollars annually. The Auxiliary designates these funds to capital improvement projects throughout the hospital.  The Gift Shop can only succeed with the generous support of our Auxiliary volunteers and patronage from our community.  If you are interested in volunteering a few hours each week, please call the Gift Shop Manager at 458-5821, ext. 250.

Tele-Care

Tele-Care is a community service provided by the CRMC Auxiliary.  It is offered free of charge to any resident in need of such services living within Colusa County.  The program offers daily telephone contact with subscribers that helps them maintain their independent living at home.  Members of the Auxiliary cheerfully call Tele-Care subscribers each morning to chat for a few minutes and to make sure the subscriber is OK.  Subscribers and their families are comforted knowing a caring Auxiliary member will check in with them each morning.

Other Areas You can Help

Office Skills help with accounting and cashiering.  If you write you could help with publicity, the lending library, or letters to our supporters.

Do you like Arts and Crafts?  Can you draw, arrange flowers, sew or bake?  Help our talented volunteers make beautiful items such as blankets to give to mothers with new babies, items to sell in our gift shop and holiday items to sell at our holiday boutiques.

Substitute Volunteers are also needed to fill-in for those volunteers who need time away from their regular assignments. Whether you have an hour or several to donate, your gift of time and talent are important to us.

Volunteers help with various duties that assist the staff and enhance the quality of the patients’ lives.
