Colusa Regional Medical Center,
Caring for Our Community Eligibility and Waiting Period Full-time and part-time employees are eligible for benefits. Part-time employees receive benefits on a pro-rated basis. The definition of a part-time employee is someone who works more than 39 hours but less than 72 hours in a two week pay period. There is a 90-day waiting period for all benefits except the 403(b) savings plan. Employees can enroll in the 403(b) plan upon date of hire. Management personnel have a 30-day waiting period for health, dental, vision and life insurance plans only. Medical, Dental, Prescription and Vision Health insurance coverage is through Principal Financial (PPO). The premium to employees on a bi-weekly basis is broken down between employee only, employee and child(ren), employee and spouse and employee and family. Part-time employees pay a slightly higher premium than full-time employees. For a more complete description of health benefits, please contact Human Resources. Other Employee Benefits
