Foundation
Support
Throughout the year, the
Foundation supports
Colusa Regional Medical
Center with special
events that offer an
excellent opportunity
for donors and
volunteers to
participate in
activities that build
community spirit and
provide vital financial
support.
Our dedicated
members are already
carefully planning
future activities.

Each year the
Foundation hosts one
of the most popular
fund raising events
in Colusa County,
the annual
"Swing-For-Life"
Golf Tournament held
each fall at the
Colusa Golf &
Country Club.
Proceeds from the
2009 tournament went
toward recruitment
costs of specialist
physicians.
The
2008 tournament
funds were
used to
purchase new
equipment in the
CRMC Surgery
Department and
Medical/Surgical
unit. Profit
from the 2007
tournament went to
CRMC's Emergency
Services Department
to purchase an advanced cardiac defibrillator,
pacemaker and
monitor. In
2006, Foundation
financial support was used for
remodeling of the
Maternity and
Nursery Department,
resulting in new
private rooms, new
furniture and new
interior design.
The latest
technology in audiology testing equipment
was also acquired,
providing our more
than 200
newborn babies
delivered each year
with diagnostic
hearing testing. The Foundation has
also given
generously in support of many
other projects over
the years including:

Paulsen Family
Foundation Support
The
Paulsen Family Foundation
has been a generous
supporter of CRMC's Home
Health Agency for many
years. Along with private donations from
members of the community,
Paulsen Family Foundation
grant funds have allowed us to
upgrade the information
system of CRMC's Home
Health Agency. This
much needed technology has
improved the agency's
information gathering and
reporting capabilities, as
well as improved quality of
care monitoring for enhanced
customer/patient service.
Paulsen Family Foundation
funds have also provided
patients and families in our
Home Palliative Care Program
(end-of-life care) with
instrumentation and
supplies.
