CRMC INTRODUCES NEW FAMILY PRACTICE PHYSICIAN

“I am very pleased to announce that Dr. Gilbert Martinez, general family practice physician, is immediately available for appointments in the Arbuckle Medical Office and the Colusa Health Clinic,” comments Dale Kirby, Chief Executive Officer.  In order to facilitate his introduction to the community, Dr. Martinez was at the Senior Health Fair manning the “Ask-the-Provider Booth”.

“I am very happy to be working here in the rural health clinics,” comments Dr. Martinez.  “I really enjoy working in small communities where I can do true family practice and care for all members of the family from babies up to grandparents. The clinics are very well equipped and staff is very friendly and eager to help.” 

In addition to his extensive family practice experience, Dr. Martinez has been the medical director for both urgent care and occupational medicine clinics and will be helping to expand the scope of those services delivered in the clinics. 

Dr. Martinez is a native of Northern California. He grew up in the San Jose area and attended the University of California in Irvine.   He earned his medical degree at the University of California Davis and completed his residency in Family Practice at San Joaquin General Hospital.

He, his wife and two sons, ages 12 and 14 live in Roseville where he is active in supporting the local high and junior high sports activities.
