“SWING FOR LIFE”
GOLF TOURNAMENT SETS RECORD
The 14th annual
Swing for Life Golf Tournament sponsored by the Colusa Regional
Medical Center Foundation on October 7th raised a record
$27,000 this year.
“It was a great tournament.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the 80 players, tournament
volunteers and more than 133 sponsors that helped to make this
annual event a tremendous success,” said Kathie Whitesell,
Foundation Board President.

The continued support of many community businesses and
individuals has contributed to the success of this annual
fundraising event. Over the past 14 years, proceeds from the golf
tournament have provided funding for our hospital and quality
healthcare for our community.
Proceeds from the 2005 Swing for Life Golf Tournament
will purchase specialized hearing screening equipment for the more
than 200 newborns born each year at Colusa Regional Medical Center.
This important newborn hearing screening equipment will enable CRMC
to better address the many needs of children born with hearing loss
and extend help to their families.
