Colusa Regional Medical Center, Caring for Our Community

It’s a Boy, First Baby of the New Year!

The first baby born in the year 2007 at Colusa Regional Medical Center was born Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 6:59 P.M.    Alexander Mendoza is the first child for Alejandro and Evangelina Mendoza of Williams.  He weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches long.  The baby was delivered by Dr. Michael Goodman.

“We look forward to the birth of the first baby every year, and it is a special treat to help parents share photos of their newborn with loved ones on the hospital website as well as present them with a gift basket,” said Dale Kirby, CEO of CRMC. “I can’t think of a better way to start the new year.”

Colusa Regional Medical Center delivers an average of 250 babies a year and is planning to add 3 more private rooms so they can accommodate more deliveries.
