Dave Zwald, President of the Colusa
Regional Medical Center Foundation, welcomed Foundation members and Over the past year, the Foundation sponsored several successful, fund raisers including the 3rd Annual Ride-for-Life bicycle ride and walk, and the 15th Annual “Swing-for-Life” Golf Tournament. The Foundation also co-sponsored the Senior Health Fair and the CRMC Garden and Art Committees with the CRMC Auxiliary.
Special events raised nearly
$30,000 and contributions from individuals and organizations raised
over $70,000. Monies raised were used to support the following
programs: cardiac monitoring system for the intensive care unit,
new x-ray digital film reader, the pending addition of three private
labor and delivery rooms, the pending new physical rehabilitation
program to be located in the Medical Arts Building, and the Senior
Nutrition Program of Colusa County. In addition, Foundation members
contributed over 150 volunteer hours to beautify the hospital campus

and a tranquility water feature by the main entrance. Zwald said,
“We’re very proud of our hospital, and enhancing its appearance
provides a good first

Newly elected board members are: D’Ann Bressler, Lettie Seaver and Colleen Wrysinski. New officers will be nominated at the June meeting and installed in July.
